Arod Javier
After my father’s passing (I was 16 then), I was transformed by the gospel through my sister’s powerful testimony, shared during her involvement with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru) at the University of the Philippines (UP), where I also finished my Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management and a Masters in Management (3 courses of finishing the degree). It is during this time that I wholeheartedly embraced Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior, culminating in my baptism by immersion.
With a heart full of purpose and after 30 years, I have left behind a successful career in the secular world of commercial real estate in Denver, Colorado, to embark on a transformative journey as a pastor of Living Faith Church in Pueblo. I left behind an established network and a thriving career in Denver, but I am excited to arrive in a new place to pursue a higher calling, fostering hope and renewal, set in motion 40 years ago, and apply the wisdom I am gaining from my Master’s in Ministry program (currently enrolled).
More recently, in 2023, I’ve come to terms with the fact that this journey also necessitated the challenging surrender of my wife’s death to cancer as part of my journey to fulfill my ministry purpose.
Living Faith is located in the outskirts of Pueblo, Colorado, a small town of 120,000 people, deep in unemployment, drug addiction, crime, and poverty, some 150 miles south of my former residence.

Tim, Rose, & Abriella Eborda
We are the Eborda family and we’ve been sent to plant a church on the south side of Chicago. My wife and I are originally from the Philippines and after 8 years of marriage, we have been blessed with a beautiful daughter, Abriella.
For the past 13 years I was a pastor in the Philippines. My wife and I both feel strongly that God is now calling us to minister here in Chicago.
Our ambition is to see lives profoundly transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ, and we believe that planting new churches for different cultures is one of the most effective ways to reach those who have never heard the Gospel.

Vic, Radha, Joshua, & David
The Lord called Pastor Vic to full-time Christian vocation in 2005 while serving in a leadership capacity at the Moody Bible Church in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2015 and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Until the launch of BCCEast, Pastor Vic served as an associate pastor at Biblical Community Church in Richardson, Texas.
A techie with a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Pastor Vic worked in IT consulting, and taught in vocational schools and universities, for over two decades.
Pastor Vic was born and raised in the Philippines. He thoroughly enjoys his acoustic guitar, basketball, ping pong, and movie nights with his family. He especially likes swimming, a passion he’s passed on to his lovely wife, best friend, and staunchest supporter Radha, and their sons Joshua and David.
